It's Here: Selena Gomez Drops Her Spanish Song, "De Una Vez," and the Video Is So Dreamy

It looks like the rumors were true [1]! On Jan. 14, Selena Gomez [2] dropped her highly-anticipated Spanish-language single titled "De Una Vez," following the 2018 release of her "Taki Taki" collaboration with Cardi B and Ozuna [3]. The pop ballad is all about healing and overcoming heartbreak, and the video sees her wearing a pink floral dress as she dances around a retro home. "This is the beginning of something I've wanted to explore for so long," Gomez tweeted [4]. "I hope you love it as much as I do."

Gomez's father is of Mexican descent, and the singer has previously opened up about wanting to learn Spanish [6]. "When my family came here from Mexico they set into motion my American story, as well as theirs," Gomez said in a virtual graduation video [7] back in May. "I'm a proud third-generation American-Mexican." Watch the video for "De Una Vez" above now.
