She Loved Her Time on The Bachelor

Though she didn't win the final rose on Colton Underwood's season, she still remembers her time on The Bachelor fondly. Following the After the Final Rose special in March 2019, Tayshia wrote that she was "thankful" for the experience.

"I don't think people understand the magnitude of vulnerability and faith this journey requires," she wrote at the time. "I have always been a private person; I came into this experience having had my heart broken in the past, and only letting the closest ones to me in on what happened. So it was tough for me to go into this journey of looking for love again and publicly displaying every intimate detail of that relationship for everyone to not only see, but criticize. But looking back, I wouldn't change it for the world. I have proven to myself that I have a lot to offer, I do deserve to be happy, in love, and to have someone fight for me. And although it wasn't me at the end, I walk away from this experience choosing ME."

She Found Love on Bachelor in Paradise

During Bachelor in Paradise season six, Tayshia developed a romance with John Paul Jones. Though they eventually broke up on the show, they reconnected when the cameras stopped rolling. In October 2019, Tayshia confirmed that they had split for good.

"John and I had something incredibly special. We fell for each other in Paradise, and everything was a whirlwind after that," she wrote on Instagram at the time. "When the show ended, I truly went back to Maryland to see if what we had was something we could build on without cameras, a production crew, and without feeling any pressure: to simply figure things out on our own terms. But the reality was, we were living on opposite coasts, and working insane schedules that made it impossible to see each other and build a life with each other. We truly did the best we could, but at this time have decided that what is best for the both of us is to go our separate ways."
