A 10-Year-Old Just Wrote a Clever Palindrome About Having Dyslexia
When Jane Broadis tasked her students with writing a palindrome, a phrase or poem that can be read the same backward as forward, she was completely blown away by a submission from one of her 10-year-old students. The poem is titled Dyslexia and it's really moving, providing a thought-provoking meaning when read in both directions. Jane immediately took a photo of it and shared it on Twitter, writing, "Today in Y6 we looked at poems that could be read forwards & backwards. I was stunned by this one written by one of my 10 year olds. Please share - I would love her work to be appreciated further afield. I wonder if it could even find a publisher?"
What an inspiring teacher and equally inspiring student!
