Ah, celebrity parents: they're just like us. They stress the f*ck out about flying with their kids [3], they occasionally burn their frozen pizzas [4], and they, too, grapple with the all-too-familiar struggle of taking a decent family photo with Santa [5]. Case in point: Alec and Hilaria Baldwin's hysterically relatable Christmas card [6] picture this year.
Hilaria shared a snapshot of her family of five posing with Saint Nick in front of a Christmas tree, noting how her three kids — Carmen, 4, Rafael, 2, and Leo, 1 — all had different reactions. "This is us," she captioned the photo, adding, "Rafa: hates Santa. Carmen: asked for a magic carpet. Leo is like: whatever . . . as long as food is involved in this experience." The 33-year-old mom also poked fun at her hubby and herself, joking, "Alec: the forever photogenic celebrity. And me: trying to avoid traumatizing my 2-year-old and GETTING MY OBLIGATORY SANTA PHOTO . . . while sacrificing any attempt at a decent pose."
Honestly, all we have to say is, "same." If this doesn't perfectly sum up what it's like to bring three kids under the age of 4 to meet a bearded stranger in a red suit while simultaneously posing and smiling at the same time, we're not quite sure what does.
