After watching Pixar's UP we all wondered if a house could really fly in the sky with balloons. Now one fan of the movie has ventured to find out!

North Carolina resident and cluster-balloonist Jonathan Trappe has recreated Carl Frederickson's floating house. Trappe was the first person to fly the English Channel using balloons, so it's only fitting that he was the first real person to try a floating house. His next challenge will be crossing the Atlantic in a vessel carried by cluster balloons; the UP stunt is part of his preparation and fundraising effort.

Gather your kids 'round to look at these pictures of his cartoon-themed house lifting off at the Leon International Balloon Festival in Mexico yesterday Seeing is belieiving!
