Whether you like sports or not, you'll want to see this video of the Murray County High School football team from Georgia and their pint-size fan, 5-year-old Ben Holloway.
In April 2014, Ben was diagnosed with [1] a dural arteriovenous fistula, a rare and fatal condition in children. Because of excess blood in his brain, he's had three lifesaving surgeries so far, and the battle will be ongoing. For now, though, Ben has started kindergarten — which he loves — and although he can't participate in football because of the dangers of contact sports, the local high school team gave Ben a chance to play.
The boy got his very own jersey and helmet [2] and was put on the field for a play. He was defended all the way to the end zone, where he scored, despite the other team's best efforts to stop him. One of the Murray County players commented on the game [3], "That will be a touchdown I'll never forget."
Watch the heartwarming video and cheer Ben on as he takes on an entire opposing team.
