As a result, the USDA is asking consumers to throw out or return any packages of the brand's chicken and rice products with a "best by" date of July 8, 2020, as they may contain traces of wheat or milk.
The contaminated products were shipped to retail locations in Florida, Kentucky, and New York, so concerned parents should make sure to double-check any Chef Boyardee Rice With Chicken & Vegetables products for the establishment number "EST. 794" at the bottom of the bowl or a package code of 210090151050045L. A list of the affected retail locations is set to be released on the FSIS website [5] when available.
