For many, the holidays are all about spending time with your loved ones, but for others, that isn't always possible. After a stranger found this young boy's Christmas letter [3] to his late father in a field in Scotland, he is doing whatever he can to give this child a Christmas miracle. In the emotional note, the young boy (and future soccer star) talks about missing his father and being in foster care because his mom is ill.

The letter, which was attached to a blue balloon, reads:

"Hi dad, just writing a letter to tell you I'm missing you and tell you news!

I'm sure you know I'm in foster :( cause mom is sick and my ear is blocked from Monday. Tomorrow we're leaving. I really miss school and you. I know you're up in heaven but are you safe? Oh ya before I go, here's my dream and xmas list.

My dream is for you my daddy to put a note under my pillow that you wrote.

Xmas list: boots/ studs, Astros, rebounder net, new Premier League ball, Real Madrid jersey and shorts, and Rubik's Cube.

Bye daddy love you."

Stuart McColl, a Dunfermline, Scotland, resident "is determined to give the boy a very special Christmas." It was fate that McColl found the note in an open field and now, the internet is rallying to find the sweet boy who wrote it.

After being posted on the popular Love What Matters [4] Facebook page, users have grabbed their tissues and are commenting with suggestions of how to find the boy by reaching out to the local social workers and offering to bring him presents.
