20 Gems of Motherly Wisdom From Instagram's CrazyJewishMom

Jan 31 2015 - 9:24am

Whether you're Jewish or not, one scroll through the Instagram account CrazyJewishMom [1] will make you cry from laughter. The account, completely comprised of texts from a 20-something New Yorker's overbearing Jewish mom, is filled with not-so-subtle nudges about marriage, babies, and everything in between — something that will feel familiar to anybody blessed with a straightforward, opinionated mother. While most moms will deny any "helicopter" tendencies, this one has fully embraced hers; something that, by all indication, is extremely liberating to the motherly soul. While there's no way we'd advise any parent to mimic CrazyJewishMom's behavior, we simply had to round up the funniest parent-to-child advice found on the Instagram account. And don't worry . . . mom, daughter, and the daughter's boyfriend (nicknamed "Superjew") are all aware of the account, so it's in good fun!
