We get that first birthday parties are big deal for the parents of the guest of honor, but for everyone else, it's just a party with cake and a toddler who's probably overwhelmed by the entire thing. So when Reddit user razz32 [1] posted what can easily be considered the most demanding invitation to their little one's birthday party, it's no wonder that the letter went viral. Take a look at the letter, below:

Among the charming lines in the invitation:
"If you are unable to get these items [a Water Table, a Play Tunnel, a Play Tent, or a Fill in the Missing Cheerios book], please let us know so we can buy them right away for him."
"If you choose to get [redacted] something that isn't on this list, anytime regardless of birthdays or holidays, please be sure to always include a receipt going forward. When we return items without receipts, we only get about 50 percent of the value, so it is like throwing away money if you don't include a receipt with the gifts."
"Please refrain from any personalized gifts that would be used outside of the house. Clothing with names is the No. 1 thing that leads to kidnapping, so we don't need to broadcast [redacted]'s name on clothing or toys. ([Redacted] is getting a personalized gift from [redacted], but it will only be used inside the house.)"
They even threw in a line telling family members that they "return items that he doesn't need to get formula instead."
The post currently has more than 6,000 comments on Reddit and more than 2 million views on Imgur. No one's come forward claiming to have sent the letter, but we're willing to bet they'll think again before sending out anything before the holidays.
