Disney Baby Onesies Recall

The Surprising Reason 10,000 Disney Baby Products Are Being Recalled

It's not the happiest place on Earth today. Walt Disney Parks and Resorts has issued a major recall of two different infant onesies because the button snaps can detach and pose a choking hazard, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

One onesie, a light blue Disneyland 60th anniversary bodysuit with Mickey Mouse and friends in front of the famed castle, was sold in four sizes — 6M, 12M, 18M, and 24M. The other, a gray Darth Vader onesie — complete with miniature lightsaber artwork and text that reads "If you only knew the power of the Dark Side" — was sold in one additional size, 3M.

Although no injuries have been reported with the 100-percent cotton onesies, approximately 10,000 units have been manufactured and sold. Consumers have been advised to stop using the items immediately and to contact Disney for instructions on how to return them for a full refund.
