It's no news that Disney-Pixar creates the most relatable and heartwarming short films and its newest feature, "Sanjay's Super Team [1]," seems to be no exception. Based on the life experiences of its artist Sanjay Patel — animator of A Bug's Life, Toy Story 2, and more — the short revolves around a young, first-generation Indian-American boy who struggles with embracing two cultures. His love for Western cartoons and pop culture conflicts with Hindu traditions that Sanjay's father so wishes for him to practice. Sanjay then journeys on a life-changing adventure that helps him return with a new outlook.
