Hilaria Baldwin was quick to fire back at an Instagram user who ridiculed her for speaking openly about her miscarriage [2] on social media. Shortly after sharing a very candid Instagram post [3] revealing that she was pregnant, but "most likely experiencing a miscarriage," the "Mom Brain" podcast host and wife to Alec Baldwin [4] returned to the app to share a since-deleted screenshot of her exchange with a commenter who unnecessarily criticized her for being honest.
The comment in question read, "Nothing is private anymore . . . good god you're annoying," to which Hilaria responded, "Why are you on my page?" She added later: "I would suggest that you go through and read even just a handful of comments from people who have experienced the same thing. And maybe your heart and compassion will grow." The 35-year-old mom of four then took a screenshot of the exchange and posted it to her Instagram story with the caption, "Because this evil exists too . . . and it's not OK."
Hilaria revealed the news of her pregnancy on Thursday [6] by posting a photo of herself in a bra and underwear while holding her stomach. She opened up about her pregnancy journey with a lengthy caption. "I want to share with you that I am most likely experiencing a miscarriage," she started off. "I always promised myself that if I were to get pregnant again, I would share the news with you guys pretty early, even if that means suffering a public loss."
She later explained what's happening with her pregnancy and why a miscarriage is likely, before asking her followers and commenters to "please be kind."
