Hilary Duff got ahead of body shamers [2] when she posted a photo of herself in a bathing suit holding her 5-year-old son, Luca, at the beach while on vacation. The busy mom's post [3] had a pretty powerful message for women everywhere: it's important not to give a sh*t what other people think, especially when it comes to your postpartum body.

The busy mama commented on how much she was enjoying herself on vacation with her family. She also acknowledged her "celeb flaws" by saying that even if her body isn't perfect, she really couldn't care less. Duff wrote, "My body has given me the greatest gift of my life: Luca, five years ago. I'm turning 30 in September and my body is healthy and gets me where I need to go."

Duff also urged her followers to embrace their bodies, saying that "wishing we were different, better, and unflawed" is a huge waste of time. She ended the post with the hashtag #kissmyass.

But, for the record, the Younger star looks pretty damn flawless.
