As we settle into Winter, it's the perfect time to step up all things warm and cozy in our home. And no one is better at finding creative ways to make a home inviting than Fixer Upper design guru Joanna Gaines. She just posted a picture of an irresistible hot chocolate bar in the kitchen of Hillcrest Estate, her and husband Chip's latest rental property [3].
As high end as the look is, it's also super easy to replicate; in fact, there's a good chance you already have everything you need to get the look! A rustic wooden tray holds a trio of glass canisters, each filled with an essential hot chocolate ingredient: powder mix, marshmallows, and peppermints for extra seasonal flavor. At the very end of the tray are a bunch of spoons for mixing and simple white mugs sit beside the tray, ready to be filled with the tasty treat. And, since this is Joanna Gaines after all, there are a few sprigs of wintry pine branches enlivening the entire setup.
It's Winter perfection and will look as beautiful as it is fun to make with the family.
