Looks like the theater gene runs in James Van Der Beek [1]'s family! The 41-year-old actor shared a photo of his four oldest kids giving a performance to the soundtrack of The Greatest Showman [2], and wow, they really put their hearts into it.

"Turns out being a theater geek is not a recessive gene," James wrote in the video's caption. "And neither, apparently, is blond hair." In James's wife Kimberly's Story, she shared another video of her husband dancing alongside his kids to Twenty One Pilots's "Stressed Out." Hmm . . . I wonder where they get it from?

James and Kimberly recently welcomed their fifth child [3], and it's pretty clear they're crushing the whole parenting thing [4]. He emphasized the importance of encouraging children's creativity in another photo he shared, and we have to agree. Seems like there's plenty of fun (and active imaginations) swirling through James and Kimberly's home.
