Lately, it seems like a day doesn't go by without a celebrity mom catching flak [3] for something they posted on Instagram, whether or not kids are even in the shot. The latest victim? Mom of three Kourtney Kardashian. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star posted a picture of herself enjoying a meal in a teeny string bikini [4] on Jan. 25 while vacationing in Mexico with a caption reading, "guac is extra," and as you can imagine, people have a lot to say about it [5].
Although many of her followers had nothing but nice things to say about her body, others took the opportunity to slam the mom for posting such a risqué photo solely because she has children. Of course, someone gave her advice that she never asked for, writing, "You're a mother, cover up." Another person said: "These people have kids why do they do that? We know they have a nice body. Those pics should be kept to themselves." And one user chimed in to ask what the point of the post was: "You are a mother don't forget it. What's the point of showing the world your beautiful ass? OK, it looks perfect then what?"
Not very nice at all. Mothers should be supporting each other, because it takes a village to raise kiddos, right?
