Melanie and Vanessa Roy — mamas of two beautiful babies, Jax Izzo and Ero Kix — are taking the Internet by storm. Their side-by-side pregnancy photos [1] have gone viral over two months after being posted and popping up on a number of LGBT-focused websites. The first photo [2] was taken in January 2014 when Vanessa was pregnant with Jax, and the second photo [3] was taken a year later when Melanie was carrying Ero.

The couple knew that they both wanted to carry a baby, and they told Huffington Post [4] that they "hope that their side-by-side photos can serve as encouragement to other lesbian couples," because some women may need a bit of inspiration to give them the confidence they need to decide to carry a child.
