Like most dads, Joshua Hoffine loves taking photos of his adorable children [1]. His photos however, aren't sweet snaps from a day at the park or of a fort built in the living room — they're terrifying images of scenes you've seen only in your worst nightmares and Hollywood's scariest films [2].
The photo project, entitled, "After Dark, My Sweet [3]," features Hoffine's daughters and explores the sorts of fears that kids can sometimes have — think monsters under the bed and dark basements. Although his girls do a good job of looking terrified, they can't get enough of posing for Daddy's shoots. "They loved it. It was like a giant game of dress-up for them," he told Bored Panda [4]. "They also knew we were making a scary picture — and loved the idea of scaring the audience as much as I did."
