It's important to support a child's creative endeavors, especially when they're toddlers and are just discovering their potential hobbies and passions — that's exactly what Brad Bellomo, dad of 4-year-old Chloe and tattoo artist, was doing when he let his daughter tattoo his arm.

In a post to Facebook [3] that is causing a bit of controversy, Brad told his followers that he let Chloe tattoo a strawberry on his arm after she practiced a few times by tracing his existing tattoos with a needleless machine. Once he was confident that the little lady could handle the weight of the machine with a needle, he controlled the foot pedal [4] that starts the machine up and let her go to town on his arm — he helped her hold the machine and made sure everything was both sanitary and safe.

The result is a shaky yet adorable red-and-green outline of a strawberry. Brad says the idea for the berry came from a cute little inside joke between the father/daughter duo — in the song "Baa Baa Black Sheep," Chloe sings the line, "Have you any wool?" as "Have you berry wu?"

The post has been shared almost 14,000 times, though some are saying that the post is offensive. In a comment on his own post [5], Brad said, "Just got reported again for graphic violence for the same picture that's already been reviewed by Facebook. . . . Sorry if I offended anyone with my daughter being so awesome!"

On the other end of the spectrum, there are plenty of people supporting Brad and Chloe. The pint-size artist has grown up surrounded by her dad's business and started to express interest in tattooing — her dad just did what any other parent would do and let her explore her creative side (it's not like she'll be doing discount playground tats anytime soon).
