Just when you think Disney couldn't possibly release a cuter, more delicious-looking food item than what it's previously rolled out (think: gold-dusted churros [2]), it goes ahead and one-ups itself like the happiness expert it is. At Disneyland Park's Mint Julep Bar [3] in New Orleans Square, home of the Mickey-shaped beignets (deep-fried dough pastries), you can now treat yourself to a blueberry lemon Mickey beignet in honor of Mardi Gras [4].
The Mardi Gras beignets, which are sprinkled with festive blue and yellow sugar, will be priced the same as Mint Julep Bar's typical powdered-sugar beignets: $4.49 for a three-pack and $7.49 for a six-pack. If you're going to Disneyland during Mardi Gras, be sure to head to Mint Julep Bar to eat one (or six) of the limited-edition specialty beignets — we'll be with you in spirit.
