Rebecca Brett doesn't exactly see herself winning a "Mom of the Year" award for 2018, but we might have to beg to differ seeing as we can't stop laughing at her hilariously typical parenting tale. During a grocery shopping trip with her 3-year-old and 7-month-old, her older daughter Ava "begged" Brett for — what looked like — smiley face pasta she saw on the shelf . . . but it definitely wasn't smiley face pasta [1].
Being a mom grocery shopping with two small children, she conceded, and purchased the pasta for her girls, who she says are both picky eaters [2]. This, however, is where the innocent part of the story ends and the NSFW hilarity [3] begins.
"So I bought [the pasta], cooked it for the girls for lunch today," she wrote in a now-viral post on Facebook. "Thought it looked a bit odd, re-looked at the bag, and IT'S ONLY BLOODY PENIS PASTA. How could I not even realize, even while cooking it?! So my 3-year-old and 7-month-old are currently sat eating a bowl of dicks for their lunch. Life."
Maybe we all haven't been exactly there before, but let's be real, we've been our own version of "there" more times than we can count, because parenting, especially toddlers (who are the worst) [5], is hard. Hang in their, mama — at least your picky eaters are eating [6]!
