Stacie Grimm was overjoyed to be pregnant with her first child. The 41-year-old mom-to-be had been told by doctors she would never be able to conceive. However, in the months that followed she received the terrible news she had head and neck cancer.
She faced the hardest decision of her life: undergo chemotherapy to save her life, or refuse chemotherapy to save her child's. Grimm refused the treatment and survived long enough to deliver a 2-pound, 1 ounce baby girl named Dottie Mae, who will be raised by her brother and sister-in-law. They've called the baby "a miracle."
