Like many new moms, marketing manager Ceylan Sahin Eker [1], was surprised by how quickly her newborn son was growing.

Instead of just letting him outgrow his adorable outfits, the Istanbul-based graphic designer came up with a creative solution: a weekly photo series of Timur dressed in his comical onesies.

"During my pregnancy I bought tons of cute onesies but soon realized after my son's birth that he was growing faster than I expected," Sahin Eker told The Huffington Post [2]. "The onesies were getting smaller by the minute and I had to at least use them once before putting them away."

Every Thursday, Sahin Eker adds a new snapshot of Timur, who is now 9 months old, to her "Happy Thursdays [3]" Instagram series. From poop jokes to a play on Minions, these punny photo shoots (complete with props!) have grown with Timur.

"He changes every day and I don't want to forget any moment," Eker added. "This project gives me a chance to document his uncontrollable growth. Babies do grow freakishly fast."
