If you're lucky enough to live near one of the Aldi grocery stores [1] around the country, chances are you're part of the cult fan base of budget-savvy shoppers who already shop here. If not, you're in luck, because the grocery chain is opening at least a dozen stores across the country this month! For those not familiar with the affordable grocery chain, Aldi opts out of traditional grocery store inclusions like fancier display shelves, baggers, and banking and pharmacy services in order to offer customers the lowest prices possible without sacrificing quality. The savings can be a huge incentive for those on a tight budget, especially anyone shopping for a large family.
While Aldi operates in two-thirds of the country, this month's expansion is only the tip of the iceberg. The company plans to expand to nearly 2,000 stores from coast to coast by the end of 2018.
