Disneyland After Dark

An all-new "Disneyland After Dark [4]" series of ongoing night events will kick off in 2018.

"Each Disneyland After Dark "nite" will be a can't-miss experience featuring specialty entertainment, themed food, collectible merchandise, and more," says Disney.

Disneyland After Dark will be starting out with a celebration of "vintage Disney" with Throwback Nite, beginning Jan. 18. Guests attending the event will even be able to enjoy the park until 1 a.m.!

Epcot International Festival of the Arts

Walt Disney World's Epcot debuted the International Festival of the Arts [5] in January 2017. The event, which celebrates "all things art" – performing, visual, and culinary — is back in 2018. The festival runs from Jan. 12 to Feb. 19, seven days a week.

Toy Story Land at Walt Disney World

The highly anticipated Toy Story Land [6] is finally opening in Summer 2018! Walt Disney World's immersive land inspired by the films is situated in the Hollywood Studios section of the park.

We've already gotten a sneak peak at the Slinky Dog Dash coaster [7] and Woody's Lunch Box [8] restaurant, and park goers can also look forward to an Alien Swirling Saucers attraction and more!

Disney Cruise Itineraries

The 2018 Disney Cruise itinerary destinations [10] include the Caribbean, Bahamas, Baja Peninsula, and Panama Canal. The cruises range in length from two nights to 14 on Disney Magic, Fantasy, Wonder, and Dream, so start planning your trip soon! The Fall roster also includes two brand-new destinations: Bermuda and Québec City, Canada!

Star Wars Day at Sea

Just in time to celebrate the release of The Last Jedi, the latest movie in Star Wars universe, Star Wars Day at Seas [12] is back! Disney Cruisers will be taken to a "galaxy far, far away" aboard the Disney Fantasy, on to 15 sailings from January through April 2018. Speaking as a Star Wars fan who has been lucky enough to experience Star Wars Day at Sea — it's a can't-miss event!

Pixar Pier at Disneyland

Pixar Pier will soon be a permanent addition to Disney California Adventure. Slated for completion by Summer 2018, the updated area will feature neighborhoods filled with characters from The Incredibles, Inside Out, and, of course, Toy Story!

More Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge News

The Star Wars-themed lands both at Disneyland and Walt Disney World aren't slated to open until 2019, but we're guessing even more exciting news about the progress of the attractions will be coming out in 2018. Stay tuned for more information and (hopefully!) more photos [15]!

Walt Disney World "Disney After Hours"

Guests can take part in Disney World's awesome "Disney After Hours" opportunity [17], which allows park goers to have the Magic Kingdom and select rides to themselves. The ticket allows park entry starting at 7 p.m. (which gives you time to see the "Happily Ever After" nightly fireworks show). Guests can stay in the park until 11 p.m. — and some nights to 12 a.m! After Hours dates are Jan. 19, 26, and 30, Feb. 8 and 15, and March 1 and 8.

Pixar Fest at Disneyland

Pixar fans have a lot to look forward to in 2018! In addition to the opening of Pixar Pier at Disney California Adventure and Toy Story Land at Disney World, guests can also celebrate with their favorite characters at Pixar Fest [18] debuting at Disneyland. Beginning April 13, 2018, the limited-time event will come to life at both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure.
