Just when we thought we couldn't possibly relate to Pink anymore, the hilarious mom of two goes ahead and posts a photo of a note that her daughter, Willow, wrote to Santa about their Elf on the Shelf [2], Chippy. Let's just say that like many of us, it's possible that Pink may have forgotten the whole "move the elf every day" part [3] of the popular holiday tradition [4].

"Translation: MOM FAIL [5]," Pink wrote in a post to Instagram, adding a transcription of Willow's note [6]: "Santa, I am worried about Chippy, he has been in the same spot for three days. I don't know why."

Ahh, sweet little Willow. I wouldn't worry about Chippy too much, as things could be much, much worse — he could have moved and ended up in the oven by accident [7]. Pink, if you're reading this, we feel your pain — we haven't moved our elves in weeks [8].
