A Pretty Pony Party With Shabby-Chic Details

"The backdrop was a work in progress," Miranda says. "I wanted the colors to pop but not stand out way too much. I spent all week before the party working on the each of the pinwheels until the backdrop was just right."

"I used my daughter's chandelier, attached roses to each piece, and hung above the dessert table," Miranda says. "It was just one of the elements that I knew had to be there, no matter what!"

"One Stylish Party contacted me about the confetti balloons and tassels, and I'm very pleased that I got them!" Miranda says. "They made the table stand out even more!"

"Lynlee's Petite Cakes along with Love & Sugar Kisses never disappoint when it comes to fondant for my cupcakes," Miranda says.

"I contacted Maskipop By Adri for some pearl sticks for my cake pops, and she ended up not only making the pearl sticks, but also creating the gorgeous rose cake pops and the pearl and shimmer cake pops with fondant roses," Miranda says. "She also created a few larger roses that I placed on my daughter's cake! I was in heaven when I opened the box and even more so once I was able to display them!"

"The cookies were made to match the printables, and Artfully Delicious did an amazing job replicating the horse I had created!" Miranda says.

"Bonbon created the macarons for me," Miranda says. "She was ever so patient as they evolved from plain macarons to different colored ones, then macarons dipped in chocolate, and then dipped in chocolate and pearls. She happily obliged, and they tasted absolutely delicious!"

"I wanted a different way to display the Vintage Confections lollipops, so I purchased a plain wooden step stool from Hobby Lobby, spray painted it pink, then drilled holes for the lollipops," Miranda says. "To make them stagger was easy. I just cut the ends of each lollipop accordingly."

"I wanted LaLa’s cakes, made by MJ Occasions, to be displayed on their own since there were three," Miranda says. "I used one of the lollipops that Vintage Confections made as a cake topper! I was very fortunate that my sweet friend JoAnne from Oh Goodie Designs was able to ship me the white ruffle tablecloth (it's actually a shower curtain!). It made the table stand out. I was contacted by Myour Stories Designs, and she wanted to create a custom frame for the party, and I was floored with what arrived!"

"The hardest part was it was the Summer, and the heat was terrible, so I had to figure a way for the sun to not be directly on the setup," Miranda says. "We purchased a long tent, and it worked out wonderfully! It reminded me of a fairground."

"I found a rustic wooden bookshelf on Craigslist and used it as my thank you gift station," Miranda says. "There was Sensa-Dough, chocolate horses, bubbles, and lots of treats!"
