At the age of three, Leo was diagnosed with multiple brain aneurysms, a condition that causes seizures and can lead to a potentially fatal stroke. By his fifth birthday, the little guy, who hails from Southern California, had already gone through three brain surgeries!
While in the hospital though, Leo bonded with the service dogs who were brought in to help sick children. That's when his mom, Yasmine, decided to give her son his own dog. Henry, Leo's furry friend, has been trained to detect seizures and to let Yasmine know if something is wrong with her son. But Henry has become much more than a rescue dog; he's Leo's best friend.
