After accepting a job at a UPS center in Little Rock, AR, 21-year-old single father Trenton Lewis was worried about his daily commute since he didn't own a car. "I was banking on my feet," he told CNN. So, each morning for seven months, Trenton would walk 11 miles [2] to make his 4 a.m. shift.

"My pride is strong," said Trenton, who stayed motivated by his 14-month-old daughter, Karmen. "Whatever she needs, I'm the person who is supposed to provide it for her." When his coworkers finally learned about his difficult commute, however, they weren't having it.

Patricia "Mama Pat" Bryant and her husband, Kenneth Bryant, have worked at UPS for decades, and Trenton grew to view Patricia like a "second mom." Trenton said Patricia "actually got upset" when she found out he was walking to work. Kenneth said, "For a young person to decide in their mind 'if I don't have a ride, if I can't get a ride, then I'll walk.' If a guy can do that, we can pitch in to help."

The couple then decided to pool together enough money to buy Trenton a car. Fortunately, every employee they spoke with was immediately willing to pitch in. "The hardest part was reminding them to bring cash," Kenneth said. After raising nearly $2,000 and negotiating a little with the seller, Trenton's coworkers were able to surprise him with keys to a 2006 Saturn Ion.

"I was emotionally moved. My heart just fell," Trenton said. "God always has something for you. I'm never going to forget this ever." Watch a video of the unforgettable surprise above.
