We all know that kids say the darnedest things. While many of us tend to shrug off (or laugh off) our children's sentiments, one dad is sharing his 2-year-old's quotes in the sweetest way. Using his skills as an art director, Martin Bruckner transformed his daughter Harper Grace's absurd expressions into the adorable Tumblr Spaghetti Toes [1]. There, he shares illustrated versions of his daughter's most humorous expressions. Bruckner wrote about the origins of the site:
"I've dedicated this place to the absurd things I hear under my roof on a daily basis. Some are said by me, some by my wife, but most by my wonderful 2-year-old daughter, Harper Grace.
"The name 'Spaghetti Toes' comes from my wife saying to my daughter 'Please don't put spaghetti between your toes' at the dinner table. I said to my wife, 'Did you actually just say those words?' and Spaghetti Toes was born.
"I wrote my wife a book for Mother's Day including various musings around my house and will add several pages from the book. I will also be adding to the collection as they happen."
But what started as a DIY gift has slowly become a social media phenomena, with the Spaghetti Toes Facebook page [2] garnering more than 4,600 "likes." Bruckner has even taken to Etsy [3] to sell some print versions of his art.
