This Special Ed Teacher Includes Her Entire Class in Her Wedding Party

When Kinsey French got engaged, her students at Louisville's Christian Academy were by her side – her now-husband proposed in the school's gym. So, when it came to her wedding day this past June, she made sure to share the experience with her class of six very special kids.

French, a special education teacher, works in a program designed for children with Down syndrome. They're in a regular classroom environment for most of the day but also receive speech and occupational therapy.

"They were like family to me," French told Kentucky's WLKY News. "They were my first class and they've been my only class and so I knew I couldn't have a special day without them."

Although the kids took part in pre-ceremony photos – beautifully documented by Lang Thomas photography – and walked down the aisle, their favorite part was, of course, the dancing. They particularly loved doing the "dab" and the "whip and nae-nae."

"It was so exciting," French said. "It was really special for Josh and myself just to have them be a part of the day, and have them come with us and celebrate with us."

Read on, and try to keep a dry eye as you watch this incredibly special day unfold.
