If your child has been living and breathing Fortnite [1] this year, you're not alone — and we feel your pain. And while we may not care to understand all the ins and outs of the game (all we know is we hear a lot of screaming [2] while they play), we're of the "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em" camp and would rather not fight the craze (the alternative is dealing with angry tweens, so, no thanks). With that said, we've gone ahead and scoured the web for the Fortnite characters we know our kids are going to ask to be for Halloween [3].
To be fair, a bunch of these are fleece jumpsuits that your kids can wear all Winter long while they're holed up in their room rotting in front of their Xbox. It's not ideal, but at least they'll be warm. And another silver lining: if they're wearing these costumes on Oct. 31, you can encourage them to go outside to trick-or-treat, which will get them off the game [4] and out of the house for at least a couple hours. Win-win?
