Oh, Wow! The Stars Shimmered Brightly Over This Elegantly Gorgeous Backyard Baby Shower
When Ashley was expecting, she decided to celebrate the birth of her beautiful baby with a celestial-themed backyard baby shower. This regal home in South Barrington, IL, had an expansive lawn that made the perfect setting for the Summer celebration. Guests were treated to freshly squeezed cocktails when they arrived at the elegant star-and-moon-filled soirée.
There were circular tables with shimmering purple tablecloths under a large tented roof. Gorgeous stars cascaded down from the ceiling of the tent, which added a whimsical charm to the joyous event. "After soaking up some moments with the mom-to-be, guests were treated to an impeccably polished and fun seated brunch," said photographer Vanessa Hurr, who was there to capture the happy occasion. "Family and friends noshed on heirloom tomato and burrata salads before diving into impeccably chic tea sandwiches."
There was also a onesie-decorating station where guests could create adorable custom gifts for the new baby. There were plenty of sweet treats, too, like chocolate cake, tarts, macarons, and sugar cookies. Everyone had such a wonderful time at this gorgeous backyard baby shower. Check out the photos ahead!
