When it was time to celebrate baby Greyson's first birthday party [1], her mom let the theme evolve organically. When her little girl was first born, Rachelle Schwartz had included a small swan princess in the baby announcement. She later found a beautiful handmade swan bust that she decided to incorporate in her daughter's nursery and that's where the love for all things swan princess began.
For the party [2], Greyson's mom wanted the day to have a soft feel so she had her friend Jenna Rainey of Mon Voir [3] paint a custom swan princess that they incorporated throughout the party. To keep both adults and the youngest guests in attendance entertained, she set up a custom necklace bar for everyone to craft their own chew bead accessories. To enhance the pink and gray color scheme, Rachelle also created a custom two-toned feather garland to drape around the swan bust and serve as the perfect backdrop for the feather-adorned vintage high chair.
The most unique touch was the unexpected way in which Rachelle incorporated snapshots she'd captured thorough the year. "I had taken a photo a week since Greyson was born, so I decided to display the photos on 'week by week' posters and even made a memory match game with them for guests to play," Rachelle told POPSUGAR. "The day was filled with family and close friends and was a true celebration of our little girl."
