These Students With Special Needs Are Quite Literally Dancing Into the New School Year!

For families with little bookworms running around, there are few things quite as exciting as a brand-new academic year [1]. And while your little ones might be jazzed to load up their backpacks with supplies and meet their new teachers [2], the L-13 class from Assumption High School in Napoleonville, LA, are putting the rest of our back-to-school celebrations [3] to shame thanks to the class' new dance video set to "I Like to Move It! [4]"

"Here's to another school year for AHS L-13. If you look closely, we have some new faces, both in our students and teachers," read the video's caption. "We hope you like our dance to kick off a new school year!!" Ever since posting the clip to its Facebook page on Aug. 19, it's gotten 33,000 views and more than 1,000 reactions. But this isn't the class's first time in the spotlight. Back in Sept. 2018, students and teachers created a hilarious dance video set to none other than "Baby Shark" [5], and yep, it's absolutely heartwarming. Here's to these tweens and teens who are getting us pumped for the new year!
