  1. 1/3 cup Cheddar, grated
    1 egg yolk
    1 tsp cream or milk
    2-3 drops Worcesterhsire sauce (or to taste)
    1 English muffin, split and lightly toasted
    1 black olive (pitted and halved), peas, snow peas a few fresh chives and a baby carrot to garnish


  1. Pre-heat the broiler to High. Put the cheese, egg, cream and Worcestershire sauce into a bowl and mash together. Season to taste with pepper.
  2. Spread the cheese mixture over the cut sides of the toasted muffins, spreading right to the edges.
  3. Split the muffin and place under the broiler about 3 inches away from the heat source. Grill for 3-4 minutes, until the cheese has melted and is golden and bubbling.
  4. Decorate the cooked muffins with peas for eyes, snow peas for ears, half an olive for a nose, chives for whiskers and a baby carrot. Serve immediately.
