Feed Your Family This Christmas "Tinner" in a Can For the Worst Holiday Ever

Dec 17 2018 - 6:42pm

You don't have to explain it to us: hosting your whole family for the holidays [1] can be a real pain. Although we love sneaking in some quality time with our families and catching a few minutes of a holiday movie [2] — or football, depending on your crew — cooking a full holiday meal from scratch [3] can be stressful. Recently however, I came across a way to cut corners in preparation for Christmas dinner [4], and frankly, it's the most questionable thing I've ever seen.

Meet "Christmas Tinner," a full-on holiday meal [5] that comes in a can. Developed by Chris Godfrey, the nine-layer, three-course "festival feast" isn't a joke — it's actually in existence. According to the product's site, it was created for "gamers who can't tear themselves away from their new games and consoles on Christmas Day." Excuse me while I go puke.

For as gross as the concept is, the canned meal really does contain breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Obviously a scrambled egg and bacon layer sits on top followed by two mince meat pies, turkey and potatoes, gravy, bread sauce, cranberry sauce, Brussels sprouts or broccoli with stuffing, roast carrots and parsnips, and Christmas pudding. Yikes.

Read through to get an in-depth look at this absolutely frightening creative dinner option for your Fortnite-obsessed kids.
