In a new campaign for Allswell [2], a luxury bedding brand, Busy Philipps admitted her favorite thing to do on Mother's Day is to stay home. The mom of two shared her thoughts in an Instagram post [3], and believe or not, she's not the only woman who'd prefer to skip a celebratory brunch [4].

According to a poll done by Allswell, 65 percent of moms said they would rather have breakfast in bed on Mother's Day than get dressed up and go out to brunch. And what's better? Two in five moms said staying in bed is their version of the best day ever.

Busy wasted no time explaining exactly why she's not digging brunch this year. "I really don't want to go out for brunch. Ninety percent of the time I end up planning it and then I feel awkward because everyone's looking at me because I'm a mom. And then I have to worry about my kids behaving. It's just too stressful."

Fair enough. Now if only we could get our partners to follow suit!
