Sometimes, you just have to get what you want. That must've been what an adventurous 4-year-old Pennsylvania girl thought when she snuck out of her home at 3 a.m. on a Friday and boarded a city bus alone in search of . . . a slushie.

According to bus driver Harlan Jenifer, the rain-soaked girl — clad in a purple coat — took a seat and declared cheerfully, "All I want is a slushie." Fortunately for the girl's parents, who had no idea she had slipped out the back door in the middle of the night, the driver notified authorities immediately.

She was taken to an area hospital where she was reunited with her mother, Jaclyn Mager.

"I will take you to buy a slushie," she told her daughter, who asked once again for the drink, in an interview with a local TV news station [1]. "But promise me next time you'll wait for me?"
