As a lover of Schitt's Creek [1], dressing up as Moira Rose [2] for Halloween [3] was a no-brainer for one mom — but it's how she dressed her baby (ahem, bébé) that has us cracking up: her 4-month-old, Beau, was dressed as David Rose, and holy eyebrows! In a post to Instagram, the Pennsylvania mom, Ariel, shared a photo of Beau dressed in David's signature lightning bolt sweater and bug-eye glasses, but it's of course the giant eyebrows that make this entire costume what it is — aka "Simply the Best."
"My favorite show is obviously Schitt's Creek [4] and the bébé was the only one in the family who couldn't say no to being in a Schitt's Creek couples' costume [5] with me!" Ariel told POPSUGAR. "I went crazy with the felt and added some lightning bolts to recreate David's iconic sweater, and found these sweet copycat glasses online. He already had the shoes and awesome low-crotch pants like David, so the finishing touch was just adding some hairy brows to the glasses. I hope he finds this costume awesome when he's turns 13 and I let him watch the show for the first time. I made my husband take photos of us for a good 30 minutes and I'm not sorry. Sleep and extra time for frivolous costumes is hard to find these days with the little babe, but this was SO. WORTH. IT."
