Enrique Iglesias and Anna Kournikova officially became parents of three [3] earlier this year, and now they're sharing their 5-week-old's timeless name [4]: Mary. The baby girl, who was born on Jan. 30, was called "Sunshine" by both of her parents in their respective birth announcements, but it turns out she has another nickname as well: Masha [5], or Mary in Russian.
Mary has been one of the most popular baby names [6] for a long time. The name, which has Hebrew origins and means "bitter," [7] reached peak popularity in 2000, when it sat in the 46th top spot for girls that year. In both 2017 and 2018, the name was 126th most popular.
