9-Year-Old Had the "Best B-Day Ever" When Her Mom Rallied Neighbors to Make Her Feel Special

Ashleigh Burger's ninth birthday was likely supposed to look very different from how it turned out, but thanks to her mom, Kate, neighbors and friends rallied to turn this year's celebration into what Ashleigh called the "best b-day ever." In a series of photos and videos posted to dad Jordan's Facebook, Ashleigh can be seen posing with handwritten birthday signs on neighbors' doors and walking down chalk-covered sidewalks while friends dance on porches and shout "happy birthday!" across their front yards. "I love it!" Ashleigh says through a smile promptly after jumping up and down with balloons in hand in one of the videos.

"Coronavirus tried to steal away my little girl's 9th birthday but Kate was ready with other plans!!" Jordan wrote on Facebook. "Surprise Neighborhood Birthday Walkabout!!!! She couldn't stop smiling. Sweetest neighbors ever."
