Gwen Stefani's Kids Are All Grown Up — Get to Know Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo

Gwen Stefani isn't just a badass rock star and judge on "The Voice," she's also a proud mom. Stefani shares three sons with her ex-husband, Gavin Rossdale: Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo. Although the "Rich Girl" singer and Rossdale divorced in 2015, they continue to coparent their sons, while Stefani's new husband, country singer Blake Shelton, has embraced his role as a stepfather.

"I didn't know what I was signing up for, but I was all about signing up for it," Shelton said during the 2022 Country Radio Seminar, per People. "And every day I've fallen in love with the boys as much as I do with Gwen."

In August 2023, Shelton was there to support Stefani's oldest son, Kingston, for his first-ever live performance — which also took place at a bar owned by Shelton. Per a fan video posted on Facebook, Shelton said of his stepson, "I'm actually honored to be the first one to introduce this guy to the stage for the very first time . . . First and foremost, this guy is an artist. He's the real deal, and you guys are gonna be able to say that you were there at his very first-ever public performance. This dude is rock. I don't just mean he rocks; his music is rock. I think we've got some rock fans out here, probably."

And in October 2023, all three of Stefani's boys proudly joined her at her Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony.

In a 2021 episode of DJ Khaled's podcast "The First One," Stefani discussed how much she loves being a mom. "All I ever really wanted was to have kids," she said. "I have this incredible mom. And my parents are still married, and they were such an incredible example of true love and respect. And you have that growing up, it's like, 'I want that. I want to be that. I want to be my mom when I grow up.' So to finally have kids at 36 after having this extraordinary, weird of a life that I never was expecting, it was just really incredible but really hard. And definitely the hardest thing that I've ever done in my life is having kids."

The Grammy winner also said she's happy to be a boy mom. "I'm so grateful that I have them and I got to have three boys," she continued. "I don't know why God chose me to be surrounded by boys my whole life, but here I am just surrounded by them and I just feel really blessed. It's really fun."

Based on photos Stefani shares of her sons, it's obvious that she's a pretty cool mom and that her family is extremely close. Read on to see pictures of all three of Stefani's sons and learn more about each one.

Kingston James McGregor Rossdale

Stefani's oldest son, Kingston, was born on May 26, 2006. Starting with their first child's name, the singer and Rossdale set a tradition of giving all of their kids two middle names. Kingston shares one of his middle names, McGregor, with his dad.

In May 2022, Stefani celebrated Kingston turning 16 by posting a throwback photo on Instagram. "I can't believe that I'm actually writing this but.... a very happy 16th birthday to my firstborn baby boy @kingsrossdale_ I prayed and I waited my whole life to be a mommy- i'm so blessed that God chose me to be yours 🙏🏻 you r so loved and we can't wait to see what happens next!! got a feeling it's gonna be good!! love u mom (gx)," she captioned a photo of her cuddling her son when he was younger.

Rossdale shared an Instagram tribute to Kingston, too. "Happy birthday sweet 16 kingston you changed my life forever and i will never be the same again .you are a force of light," he wrote. "You have bloomed like an ancient spirit. i am thrilled for what is to come. i watch with great pride and excitement . with so much tragedy in the news it makes me even more grateful for you and the inspiration you bring to those who love you . happy birthday my sweetest boy."

These days, it seems Kingston is following in his parents' musical footsteps, per his live music debut at Shelton's bar. Perhaps his recent show is the start of a professional music career.

Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale

Stefani's middle son, Zuma, was born on Aug. 21, 2008. Per People, his name is said to be inspired by Zuma Beach in Malibu, CA, and one of his middle names, Rock, could be a nod to No Doubt's 2001 album "Rock Steady" — or maybe it's just to honor his two rockstar parents.

On Zuma's 14th birthday, Rossdale shared a photo of his son on Instagram, writing: "HAPPY BIRTHDAY ZUMA - my sweetest boy you are the shine of my sun.i love everything about you.a magical boy indeed. layers on layers.so happy you're mine. you've even made me fall in like with baseball YOU HAVE AN ARM OF GOLD. and you can hit the life out of a ball that flies at 80 mph. you're amazing. we are gonna celebrate hard. because that's how we roll."

Apollo Bowie Flynn Rossdale

Stefani's youngest son, Apollo, was born on Feb. 28, 2014. Apollo gets the middle name Flynn from his maternal grandmother's maiden name and Bowie from his paternal grandmother's maiden name.

On his ninth birthday, Stefani shared a selection of photos and videos featuring her and Apollo with Shelton. "My world is so much bigger with u in it, happy birthday, apollo ♥️♥️ i love u so much," she wrote on Instagram.
