The heaviness of losing someone is always hard for people to articulate, and losing a parent [2] is an entirely different level of grief. When people try to express the emptiness, it can be incredibly challenging, and when celebrities do it, it can be moving in a different way, because they don't have to share loss or their family life with thousands of strangers . . .

In a heartfelt Instagram post, Kim Kardashian [3] went through the archives and shared an adorable photo of her and her sister [4] cuddling up to and kissing their late father, Robert Kardashian [5], on the cheek. "Miss you dad. Can't believe today would be 16 years since you went to heaven," Kim wrote, with her sister Khle adding, "This is such a beautiful photo! I miss him every day!"
