Little Mix star Perrie Edwards first announced her pregnancy [1] with partner Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain back in May 2021, and on Aug. 22, she shared the news that her first child was born.
Perrie shared the news via an Instagram post of the little one with a caption that read, "Welcome to the world baby." Her announcement has seen a wealth of positive comments from friends and family, including Laura Whitmore, Stacey Solomon, and Giovanna Fletcher. Of course, Perrie's Little Mix bandmates had adorable comments, too, including fellow new mom Leigh-Anne Pinnock [2], who said, "I am so proud of you and I love you so much 🥺 what an angel."
No details about the baby's name or official date of birth have been disclosed yet, but we're sure that this sneak peak is only the beginning.
News of the birth comes at a pretty pivotal time for the band, who recently celebrated their 10th anniversary [4], found themselves commemorated in wax at Madame Tussauds [5], and collaborated on a song with Anne-Marie [6] for her new album. Honestly, we can't wait to see what the girls announce next!
