Peter Parker, Miles Morales, and Gwen Stacy are forming a new team, Team Spidey, in Disney Junior's new Marvel show Spidey and His Amazing Friends. The animated preschool series, which premieres this August, follows the three young superheroes on adventures to protect their community using teamwork, cooperation, and problem-solving skills. And the theme song is going to be a hit among Fall Out Boy fans — the band's lead singer, Patrick Stump, performs the song in the show's opening sequence.
"When I was approached to write the music for Marvel's Spidey and his Amazing Friends, I was first just excited to hear that Disney Junior was doing this show, and secondly, I think it took me all of 10 minutes to say yes and start writing the theme song in my head," Patrick said in a press release. "As a lifelong Marvel fan, this is a dream come true for me, and I can't wait for kids and families, including my own kids, to see the show when it premieres this summer."
