Amanda Seyfried rarely posts pictures of her daughter Nina and her son Thomas, but when she does, we melt from the adorableness! Keeping their family life private has always been important for both "The Crowded Room" actor and her husband, Thomas Sadoski. The couple tied the knot in a secret ceremony one week before their daughter's birth. But this only makes every glimpse we catch of the sweet family all the more precious.

And as of September 2020, Nina is a big sister! At the time, the couple announced through INARA that they'd welcomed a baby boy. Since then, Seyfried has been candid about motherhood, telling Today in a May 2023 interview that she approaches parenting with an open mind. She told the outlet that it's important for her children to know they can "say anything they want with no judgement."

"I just want my kids to know that they can come to me no matter what," said Seyfried. "Embarrassed, fearful, anxious, excited, whatever they're feeling, if they let it out a little bit, it's liberating."

Keep reading for everything we know about Amanda Seyfried's two children: Nina and Thomas.

Nina Sadoski Seyfried

Seyfried and Sadoski's daughter was born on March 24, 2017, and since then, her mom has been careful to protect her little girl's privacy by not showing her face.

What we know about Nina is that she adores baby horses (who wouldn't?) and is very happy to live on a farm full of rescue animals.

She's also a big fan of her mom — so much so she got a little emotional when Seyfried won an Emmy for "The Dropout" in September 2022. "My daughter actually cried because she was confused how I spoke to her through the TV and so I called her," Seyfried said, according to People. "She was supposed to be in bed. . . . I didn't expect that to be the reaction."

Thomas Sadoski Seyfried

Seyfried and Sadoski welcomed their second child, a son named Thomas, in September 2020. The couple announced the birth through the International Network for Aide, Relief, and Assistance (INARA) and War Child USA — the couple is on the board of the former and are ambassadors for the latter. Their statement to the two organizations reads: "Since the birth of our daughter 3 years ago our commitment to the innocent children that are so brutally affected by conflict and war has been a driving force in our lives. With the birth of our son the work of INARA and War Child has become our North Star."

In October 2021, Seyfried revealed that "something went wrong" with Thomas's arrival. Though the little boy was luckily okay, she told People, "it was tricky and it was painful and it didn't have to happen, and it did so it added an extra level of trauma."

It seems that Thomas will always be the youngest sibling as Seyfried told Stephen Colbert in April 2021 that there will "definitely" not be a third child for her and Sadoski, according to Us Weekly.
