Meet All 4 of Jimmy Kimmel's Kids, From His Adult Son and Daughter to His Mini Me, Billy

Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel is a proud dad to four kids. Although much of the world knows more about his two youngest children with his wife, Molly McNearney, whom he married in 2013, Kimmel also has two grown children from his first marriage to Gina Maddy-Kimmel.

The comedian loves kids, as evidenced by many segments from his show — from his famous Halloween candy pranks to having Billie Eilish ask kids where they go when they sleep. Not to mention, he's also a children's book author. For his latest kids stunt, Kimmel surprised his two youngest kiddos with an epic sing-along with Olivia Rodrigo on their way to school. The "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" host pulled it off by picking up the "Vampire" singer as a hitchhiker. "Oh my god, Billy, it's Olivia Rodrigo," Kimmel's daughter Jane says in the Oct. 24 video segment.

Whether it's pulling pranks or being honest about fatherhood, Kimmel lights up when it comes to sharing his personal experiences as a dad of four. "I'm more patient, I'm more confident," he told People in 2020 of parenting his two youngest, who are more than 20 years younger than his oldest kids. "I didn't make any money when I was in radio and I got fired a lot. It's stressful enough to get fired and have to move to another town, but when you have little kids, it's even more stressful. So it's easier this time around, and I'm glad because I'm busy."

Jane Kimmel

Kimmel and McNearney's first child together — Kimmel's third — a daughter named Jane, was born on July 11, 2014. When Jane was a toddler, Jimmy revealed a hidden talent of his: pancake art. Although McNearney wasn't as thrilled about him unleashing this creative energy on their toddler's breakfasts — "His artistic ability has become my burden. When he isn't home, our daughter sits at the kitchen table, glares at me and says, 'I want a pancake. Peppa Pig.'" — there's no denying that the man's got talent.

After Jane's fourth birthday, it was made pretty clear that Jane has her dad's dry sense of humor. Kimmel shared her party details in his next show's opening monologue, saying that everything went well until the kids started hitting a piñata. "My daughter loves 'PAW Patrol.' . . . For her birthday she asked for a 'PAW Patrol' piñata," he said. "And we got her one, and it was a terrible piñata. It wasn't even shaped like anything, just a rectangle with four dogs on it, one of which was Chase, that's her favorite dog. . . . Finally, they cracked this thing open and the candy comes out and they all dive in and fight each other for it."

The late-night show host said that McNearney then noticed Jane off in the distance staring at the remains of the ravaged piñata: "Jane looks at it and says to no one in particular, 'I can't believe we beat up Chase.' And then she goes — and I don't know where she got this — but she goes, 'Look at these guys, they never saw it coming.'"

William "Billy" John Kimmel

Kimmel and McNearney's second child together, a son named William, or "Billy," was born on April 21, 2017. After his birth, the normally lighthearted and funny late-night host started his May 1 episode with a 13-minute monologue revealing that Billy was born with a rare and scary heart defect that involved him getting open-heart surgery at just days old.

In August of that year, Kimmel gave an update on Billy's health, saying that he was "doing great," and in December 2017 the little guy had his second open-heart surgery, which also went well. On his son's second birthday, Kimmel shared the above photo of Billy with the caption: "Happy 2nd birthday to our little #Easter buddy Billy. We are grateful always to the nurses and doctors at @CedarsSinai & @ChildrensLA who saved his life and all of you who prayed & sent positive thoughts our way."

Katie Kimmel

Kimmel welcomed his oldest and first child, a daughter named Katie, with his ex-wife on Aug. 28, 1991, in Tampa, FL. Though Katie grew up before her famous dad's busy success, the late-night host told Vulture in 2017 that it was still a struggle to spend time with her because he was "exhausted all the time" from doing morning radio. "Most of the pressure I felt with Katie came from me being a 25-year-old guy who had to keep the family afloat," Kimmel said. "It was not easy."

But things have gotten easier since then. According to People, Katie graduated from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2015 and later moved to California to work as an artist. These days, she runs her own online shop filled with ceramics and fun T-shirts. She's married to Will Logsdon, whom she wed in September 2021.

Around that time, Kimmel joked about his daughter's nuptials on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show." "People keep saying congratulations. I don't know what I'm being congratulated for," he said. "Congratulations on raising a human that is attractive enough to be taken by one person. It's not like we were trying to get rid of her, you know? It's not like we're selling a houseboat on eBay or something like that. But I guess congratulations is the thing."

Kevin Kimmel

Kimmel's second oldest, a son named Kevin, was born on Sept. 19, 1993. He works as a production assistant and also does sound, per People. Growing up, Jimmy and Kevin didn't spend as much time together as the former would've liked on account of his busy work schedule, but as adults, the two bond over things like baseball and fishing. They even like to sit courtside at NBA games together, with their last outing being at a Los Angeles Lakers and Chicago Bulls game in March.

Like his big sister, Kevin is married. He tied the knot with his wife, Nicole, in September 2022. This year for their wedding anniversary, Kevin wrote on Instagram, "Happy one year anniversary to my lovely wife who after looking down the barrel of a life with me almost immediately moved to another country. Love you so much @nicolekimmel - praying to god I don't get in trouble for using the 'wrong' pic."
