Amy Schumer and Her Husband Chose a Pretty Unique Name For Their Adorable Baby Boy

Amy Schumer and her husband, Chris Fischer, welcomed their son on May 5, 2019 and shared his unique name through an Instagram post on May 7. "Gene Attell Fischer and his dad Chris," Amy captioned a precious photo of her baby and husband together.

However, on the April 14 episode her Spotify podcast, Amy Schumer Presents: 3 Girls, 1 Keith, Amy casually revealed that she and Chris recently renamed their soon-to-be-1-year-old son for a pretty hysterical reason. "So do you guys know that Gene, our baby's name is officially changed? It's now Gene David Fischer. It was Gene Attell Fischer, but we realized that we by accident named our son 'genital,'" she said, bluntly adding, "Gene Attell sounds like 'genital.'"

We think Gene David definitely suits him!
